Music, Media & Fine Arts Mission Statement

The Music, Media and Fine Arts Ministry of Sixth Baptist Church is both evangelistic and inspirational. Utilizing our musical gifts and talents; we seek to glorify God and tell of His salvation through spirit filled songs, creativity and visual communication.
"Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end." Ephesians 3:21
On First Sundays:
Fleming Memorial Male Chorus; consists of our adult men worshipers of all ages. This choir is capable of ministering modern and contemporary music as well as traditional anthems. They meet 4th Tuesdays at 7 p.m.
Gospel Truth; a men's acapella group, whose worship style is based on vocal harmony. They meet 4th Tuesday at 8 p.m.

On Second Sundays: (Youth Emphasis)
E.L. Fleming Gospel Chorus; consists of our adult men & women worshipers of all ages. This choir is capable of ministering modern and contemporary music as well as traditional anthems. They meet 2nd Tuesdays at 7 p.m.

W.A.Y. Children's Community Choir; consists of young worshipers between the ages of 10 - 18 years old and is open to the children in the community to participate. They sing songs that develop their understanding of God and what it means to worship Him. They meet 4th and 2nd Wednesdays at 6:45 p.m.

On Third Sundays; (Young Adult Emphasis)
Praise Team; consists of adults worshipers 25 -45 years of age. They sing modern and contemporary songs of today. They meet 4th Thursdays at 7:00 pm.

On Fourth Sundays; (Communion)
Senior Choir; consists of our adult men & women worshipers of all ages. This choir is capable of ministering modern and contemporary music as well as traditional anthems. They meet every 3rd & 4th Thursday at 7 p.m.

On Fifth Sundays;
Women's Chorale; consists of our adult women worshipers of all ages. This choir is capable of ministering modern and contemporary music as well as traditional anthems. They meet every 3rd & 4th Mondays at 6:45 p.m.

Annual events and various Sunday's
Liturgical dance ministries: Adonai Youth Dancers and Total Praise adult Women along with the Dramatic ministry; presents, skits, pantomimes and liturgical worship in a creative manner throughout the year.
